Students are required to complete a final project in order to succeed in the Valley Voyages course at Nordonia High School. In the past, projects have been focused on solving or generating solutions based on a specific problem set. Oftentimes, the problem sets have been based on the year’s focus, such as providing solutions for mass transit in the Ohio corridor, or how to increase overnight camping in Cuyahoga Valley National Park in a responsible and sustainable way.
This year’s theme (2011) is People of the Valley. As such, the problem set is currently being generated and formulated, and will be shared with students at the beginning of the spring semester at Nordonia High School.
